I don’t personally like these on line things like blogs, my space, and all that. I feel like people you really don’t want in your life anymore have a way of finding you and getting into your business. I don’t like it. That is one reason to choose to keep personal pictures off my blog. At the same time that keeps the blog from being interesting and personal where people can get to know you better. It also requires a lot of time that I would rather be spending with my son. For school it was a nice exercise and a way to talk with fellow class mates. I was not able to keep up with others blogs that much and not many comments were made to mine. It’s not just for me. I have enjoyed the discussion boards and seminar much more then blogging.

I have to say that I had no idea where I was going with my paper. Then we had to write our ruff draft. I was freaking out I really didn’t know what I wanted to say. Then I just started explaining what the anti-oxidants were and all the sudden it hit me. I only meant for this explanation to be a sentence or two but then I thought maybe that is why everyone roles there eyes when people say you should make sure you eat your daily fruits a vegetables, they do this because they don’t really see why its so important. So I wanted people to understand the impact that something as simple as eating fruits and vegetables can have. I also wanted everyone to understand where they can find these things, and to look past apples bananas and organs, not that there is anything wrong with then but really…I know I get tried of the same thing over and over. Then I thought about well now they know why its important and where to find it but adding it into you diet is easier said then done. So I wanted to point out some fun ways they you can add these things into your diet as well as the fact that there are so many new products out there like pre cut apples, and fruit cup, they even have vegetable cups and V8 fusion drinks, that can make grab and go snacks easy.

These last six weeks in school have been so crazy. I had to drop last term because of my health and well it has not gotten much better. I can’t give up though I have a son to think of and I need a better job. Work is not so crazy though so that has helped but I have been dealing with hospital and medication and test after test around school and work along with trying to make sure my son not only has what he need but that we have some time to play together to. I want to make sure I don’t miss out on to much of his life and if something ever happened to me I really want him to have good memories of me. This paper in a lot of way hits home to me. I have a chronic condition that might have been able to be helped if I had a good diet and ate more fruits and vegetables. It is hereditary so maybe not but I really think that many people underestimate there health till they are all of the sudden faced with a problem and then it can often be too late. The cost alone to be treats is like 6 times the cost of just eating right to begin with. This has been one of my favorite classes though not only because of great class mates but also a great teacher, I have not had a teach yet you cared so much about us as students and who has been so willing to help us out.

I have to say that in a lot of ways so far all my classes have really helped me to communicate better and to write better papers. I'm not really sure how I'm doing it. I feel that in the past I spend more time on my papers and now I feel that I'm rushing through them but I seem to get really strong feed back. Organization and research doesn’t seem to be a problem for me. Mostly its things like grammar and punition, and paraphrasing. Some times I look back on my paper when its all done and I'm surprised that it came out of my head, that its my work. I remember last term I told my friend that I didn’t remember being that smart. I think the big thing is that there is always more to learn and that it’s important to hear what people say about your writing and just continue to make changes, practice, ask question and try. In the end all you can do is get better.
